Several years ago, before I lost interest in sideshow, I was discussing an idea with a few sword swallowers. The idea was to set up a new organisation for sword swallowers, with input from other sword swallowers, as a good few of us felt that the only other organisation at the time wasn't delivering /  operating as it should. Maybe 8-9 years on, I've found my way back to sideshow, and the sword swallowers association that you all know is in a worse state than it was when I lost interest, with dead links littering the site, so I think that now is the time for the new organisation to take shape and be put out in to the world. 

First up, this is going to be free, no membership fee. At the minimum, there's to be a list of sword swallowers, so that anyone looking for a sword swallower can find and contact us, anyone contacting the organisation looking for a sword swallower near them will be directed to this list, we will not be putting anyone forward, no favouritism, the list is there for a reason. There's a list of sword swallowers on my site, and on the SSAI's site, I'm happy to migrate people from each list over to the list of sword swallowers held by the new organisation.

In addition to the list of sword swallowers, there'd be a private group for sword swallowers, where we can discuss the art among ourselves, anyone looking for advice on sword swallowing techniques should be able to find it there. There'll be a FAQ page once there's a number of FAQ's to make a page with. There'll be a page for membership application, those not on the list of members on the site will be required to submit video evidence of them being a sword swallower, with the current SSAI required blade measurements standing for the sword swallowed. On this page for membership application, I feel that the subject of learning should be covered, maybe a list of places / people that teach sword swallowing. 

I feel that the above is the bare minimum we'd need, I'd get the site put together with the above pages to get it off the ground, and have additional pages added to the site based on discussions among others in the private group and what the sword swallowing community feel we need on there.
